Active Tectonics, Structural Geology, and Tectonics at
Oregon State University includes active research in tectonic geomorphology, earthquake geology, subduction zone dynamics,
extensional tectonics, and continental collision orogenic belt development. An interdisciplinary group of geologists and
geophysicists are housed in Geosciences and in the College of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences (COAS - Marine Geology).
Geoscience faculty
with research interests in Active Tectonics, Structural Geology, and Tectonics include Dilles, Lillie, Meigs, Wright, and Yeats.
COAS scientists include Goldfinger, Nabelek, Levi, and Trehu.
Graduate research opportunities are currently available with each of the Active Tectonics faculty.
