opportunity for someone to become a part of our successful and expanding 
renewable energy business in our San Mateo , California office.

The Position:Services provided at the San Mateo, California office include 
project definition, regulatory strategies, CEQA/NEPA compliance, environmental 
permitting, and mitigation monitoring. RMT provides technical and 
environmental support services to public and private clients for permitting 
renewable energy, infrastructure, development, and water management projects. 
Typical responsibilities for a Mid-Level Environmental Scientist/Analyst 
include conducting research and technical studies, and writing and managing 
preparation of environmental documents for challenging energy projects.

Requirements:

· MS degree earth science, natural resource management, or a related field 
with scientific research and technical writing experience.

· A minimum of 5 years of applicable experience with an environmental 
consulting firm permitting energy projects with a particular emphasis on wind, 
geothermal, and transmission line development.

· Excellent understanding of CEQA and NEPA compliance.

· Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point.


· Proven project management skills. Experience using Microsoft Project is 
beneficial.

· Must be a team-player, creative thinker with initiative, and possess strong 
research skills.

· Excellent writing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Valid California driver's license; satisfactorily pass a pre-employment drug 
screen and motor vehicle record check.
