The Department of Geography at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), Nevada, invites national and international applications for two tenure- track Assistant Professor positions, one in the area of Paleoclimate Modeling and the other in the area of Ecoclimatology. These positions will be initially funded through the current Nevada NSF-EPSCoR project entitled "Nevada Infrastructure for Climate Change Science, Education, and Outreach" (http://www.nevada.edu/epscor/nsf-overview.html). The appointments will begin 1 August 2010. The successful candidates are expected to establish a widely recognized research program in climate change, supervise graduate students, and teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
