Undergraduate certificate. Contact undergraduate certificate advisor, Dr. Jon Kimerling, Geosciences, who will consult with and accept you into the program. Upon completion of the coursework, he will also ensure that the appropriate code (C540) for the undergraduate geographic information science certificate is added to your student record, and that a paper certificate is issued.
Graduate certificate. Upon consultation with Interim Certificate Program Director Dr. Anne Nolin, Geosciences, you may declare the graduate geographic information science certificate on your graduate program form (the one that is submitted to the Graduate School), by listing the required courses under MAJOR on the left side of that form. Please also send a copy of your graduate program form to Dr. Wright for her records. Upon completion of the coursework, she will also ensure that the appropriate code (CG03) and credential are assigned to your student record, and that a paper certificate is issued.
