Critical Thinking Paper Guidelines Read this information carefully, your grade depends upon it.
These papers can be written on the front and back of one sheet of paper OR on
the back of previously used paper. Doing so will garner you an extra point.
Failure to do so will cost you two point.

These samples have been made available courtesy of the student. They are not
perfect, so don't copy stuff from them. They are made available to you to show
how a paper that received an "A" grade is written.

There is a GEO 300 library guide
for GEO 300 posted on the library website at the same url
as previous versions (http://ica.library.oregonstate.edu/course-guide/1556-GEO300).
Extra Credit Opportunity. I believe that students
benefit from peer review. To get credit for peer review, attach evidence when
you turn the paper in. If you go to the writing center, or have someone outside
class review your paper, attach a note from the reviewer and you can get the 10
points. More typically you get points for reviewing another student's paper.
Remember that the course total of 40 MU/EC points.
Still blew it? You can redo the second and third papers to improve your score,
but there is a catch. The rescore will go into the "Make-up Work/Extra
Credit column on the grade spreadsheet and the CT Column will show a
"0" So if you want to improve your # 2 and # 3 CT Papers scores badly
enough to eat up MU/EC points, go ahead and rework it. Remember that there is a
course total of 40 MU/EC points.
